Upgrade to an updated version of Windows
In April 2014, Microsoft officially ceased support for Windows XP. This means that this version of its operating system will no longer be updated and will not even receive the very important security patches that are used to protect the PC from any cyber attacks.
Since support for Windows XP has ended and using it can pose a potential danger, I strongly recommend that you stop using it and, therefore, to upgrade to a newer version of Windows. In my tutorial on how to update Windows XP I explained step by step how to switch to Windows 7, Windows 8.x and the latest Windows 10 without too much effort and minimizing the boredom of having to copy programs and data to the computer. I'm sure that reading the in-depth article I linked to you earlier, the transition from Windows XP to a more recent version of the famous Microsoft OS will be practically painless.
If you have an old PC on which neither Windows 7, nor Windows 8.x and Windows 10 cannot properly "run", you can consider installing Ubuntu or another Linux distribution capable of making the most of it. the characteristics of the computer without exposing it to the security risks to which the now antiquated Windows XP is subject. If you want to deepen the subject and learn more, I suggest you take a look at the in-depth analysis in which I explain in detail how to install Linux. I am sure this reading will also be very useful to you.
