What is TurboGiga Day
Before going into the merits of this guide and explain yourself how to activate TurboGiga Day, you may find it useful to find out the details of this promotion and which TIM customers are entitled to it.
TurboGiga Day lets you have Giga 10 free 4G Internet (to be used both in cities and in the countries of the European Union). The offer is valid until midnight on the day of activation and can be requested once a month, even on different days, until January 31, 2019.
The initiative launched by the cittàn telephone company is aimed at all customers who have an active tariff plan TIM Prime go, but also to those who in the period from 4 September 2017 to 30 April 2018 activated one of the offers in the range TIM Young, TIM Young Junior, TIM 60+, TIM Next Unlimited e TIM Special (now no longer marketed).
If you do not know which tariff plan is active on your TIM mobile line, you can easily find out by calling the free number 40916, by accessing theMyTIM reserved area from your computer or by downloading the application MyTIM Mobile on your smartphone. You must know that to take advantage of the 10 Giga of TurboGiga Day, it is necessary that the residual credit of your SIM is greater than zero and that the free data traffic has erosion priority compared to other active data offers on the line: after the 10 Giga, in the absence of other data traffic available, navigation stops automatically. Activate TurboGiga Day from your phone
The simplest solution for activate TurboGiga Day from your phone is to download the free application MyTIM, available for Android and iOS devices and which allows you to better manage your TIM mobile line.
After downloading MyTIM from your device's store, start the application by pressing its icon (the TIM logo on a blue background) on the home screen, press the button NEXT, Then Salta, Accept and log in to your account by entering the access data in the fields related to Email e Password.
If, however, you are not yet registered in MyTIM, tap the button Subscribe, inseerisci i tuoi dati nei campi Email e Password e pulsing sul pulsating NEXT. Then enter yours telephone number in the appropriate field, tap the button NEXT and complete the registration by following the instructions on the screen (you should just type in a verification code received via SMS).
After logging into your MyTIM account, tap on the shop at the bottom center, tap on the item See all in Internet tailored for you, select the option TurboGiga Day Prime (if available) and presses the button Attiva to activate the promotion.
Alternatively, you can request the activation of TurboGiga Day also by calling the number 40916, TIM's free service for rechargeable lines that allows you to know the remaining credit, to make top-ups, to know the status of offers and to deactivate or activate promotions.
Then take your phone, open the dialer (the app you use to make calls), invoke the numeric keypad, dial the number mentioned above and tap on the icon of handset to initiate the call. After listening to the welcome message and discovering the remaining credit, press the button 3 to learn about and activate the new TIM promotions and listen to the list of offers available for your mobile line.
Then press the button associated with the offer TurboGiga Day e pulsing sul pulsating 1 to complete the activation of the promotion (the combination to press may change, so be sure to carefully follow the instructions of the voice guide).
Activate TurboGiga Day from your computer
You prefer activate TurboGiga Day from your computer? No problem! All you have to do is connect to the TIM website, access the MyTIM reserved area with your login credentials and enter the section of offers that the cittàn telephone company has reserved for you.
To take advantage of your 10 Giga of Internet for free, then connect to the TIM website and click on the item MyTIM present at the top right and then log in to your account. Haven't you registered on MyTIM yet? In that case, click on the item MyTIM, select the option Subscribe and, in the new open page, enter your data in the fields Email e Password, then move the cursor visible at the bottom and presses the button NEXT. Finally, enter yours telephone number in the appropriate field, put the check mark required to confirm that you are the holder of the number entered and click on the button NEXT. After logging into your account, make sure the tab is selected MyTIM Mobile at the top and click on the item Offers for you. On the newly opened page, locate the option TurboGiga Day present under the heading Proposal and presses the relative button More details to know the details or on the button Attiva to proceed with activation.
Alternatively, you can also access the page dedicated to TurboGiga Day and click on the red button Attiva, then log in to your account and proceed with activation by pressing the button again Attiva.
In case of problems
If you have followed the instructions I have given you in the previous paragraphs in detail but have not been able to activate TurboGiga Day, first make sure you have the requirements to take advantage of the offer. In fact, if by accessing the section Offers for you through the MyTIM Mobile app or from the MyTIM reserved area of the telephone company website, you do not see the TurboGiga Day option or if you click on the button Attiva present on the page of the TIM website dedicated to the initiative, view the message The offer is not available for your line, it means that you cannot activate the promotion on your TIM mobile line.
If, on the other hand, you are entitled to the promotion but after the activation of TurboGiga Day the 10 Giga are not available, you are probably a new TIM customer and to take advantage of the free Internet traffic you must wait 72 hours from activation.
In the event that the problem encountered persists, I recommend that you contact TIM customer service by calling the free number 119. After starting the call and listening to the welcome message, press the button 3 to receive commercial, technical and administrative assistance and follow the instructions in the guide item to get in touch with a real TIM employee to whom you can explain the problem encountered. Alternatively, connected to the TIM website, click on the item MyTIM present at the top and log in to your account, then click on the items Do you need help e Open a chat visible on the right in order to request assistance via chat. If you don't have a computer available, install the app TIMpersonal for Android or iOS, log in by verifying your phone number and tap on the option Chat to send your message to TIM assistance (which is available from 07.00 to 23.00).
