Enable automatic translation of other people's posts on Facebook
Are you interested in understanding how to activate automatic translation on Facebook for what concerns the posts and comments of others that you see appearing in the News section of the social network? Then follow the instructions on what to do that you find below. You can do everything by acting on the social network settings. Keep in mind that the settings you change from the web version of Facebook will also apply to the mobile version and vice versa.
From computer
In order to activate the automatic translation on Facebook of posts published by friends (but also from pages and those in groups) from a computer, the first fundamental step you must take is to access your account from the Web version of the social network, press on the symbol of freccia rivolta verse il basso that you find in the upper right part of the blue Facebook bar and choose the item Settings give the menu to compare.

Subsequently, by going to the News section of the social network, every time you see posts and comments written in a foreign language appear, these will be automatically translated into cittàn or in any case in the language of your choice.If you deem it appropriate, you can still view the written text in the original language by simply clicking on the item See the original that you find under the translation, next to the symbol ofgearso.
If you know certain foreign languages and you want to prevent posts and comments written in those languages that you see appearing on the home page from being translated automatically, click on the link Modification which is next to the wording Which languages do you know?, always in the section Language of the Facebook settings, and type in the appropriate field the languages that you know and want to exclude from the translation. Then save the changes by clicking on the button Salva modifiche.
Even if you don't know a specific language, do you still want to prevent the social network from automatically translating? Then click on the link Modification che trovi in corrispondenza della voce Which languages do you not want automatic translation for? and enter the reference languages in the appropriate field and then confirm the changes made by pressing the button Save Changes.
Give smartphone and tablet
If, on the other hand, what you are using is an Android device or an iOS device, to activate the automatic translation of the posts and comments that you see appearing in the social network home, the first step you need to take is to start the app of the famous social network on your device, access your account, tap on the button with the three lines horizontally that you find at the top left (on Android) or bottom right (on iOS), scroll down the screen that opens and choose the item Account settings (your Android) or Settings> Account Settings (its iOS).
On the next screen, press on the wording Language then stop on In which language do you want the news to be betrayed? and choose cityno (or the language you prefer) from the appropriate menu and then step on the button Save per salvare I modified it.
After making the above changes, by going to the News section of Facebook, every time you are shown posts and comments written in a foreign language, these will be automatically translated into cittàn. Nevertheless, you can always and in any case view the text written in the original language simply by pressing on the symbol of thegear that you find under the translation and choosing, from the menu you think, the option See the original.
Do you know certain languages and prefer to prevent posts and comments written in these languages that you see appearing on the home page from being translated automatically? Then stop on the link Which languages do you know? always in the section Language from the settings to the Facebook app and type in the field you see appear on the screen the languages that, precisely, it is your intention to exclude from the translation. Save the changes made by pressing the appropriate button.
Regardless of your language skills, do you prefer to prevent Facebook from automatically translating terminated languages? Then press on the voice Which languages do you not want automatic translation for? and specify the reference languages in the field on the screen and then confirm the changes made by pressing the button Save.
Enable automatic translation of your posts on Facebook
Are you interested in understanding how to activate the automatic translation system of your Facebook posts in such a way as to make them readable even by those who do not speak the same language as you? Then follow the instructions on what to do that you find below. Even then, what you do from the web version of Facebook is also valid for the mobile version and vice versa.
From computer
If you want to find out how to activate the automatic translation of your posts on Facebook from your computer, the first step you have to do is to access your account on the social network from the web browser. Then select the languages in which you want to automatically translate your post by clicking on the item Select that you find next to the wording Language: always at the bottom right and choose, from the menu that opens, the languages in which you want to offer the automatic translation of your post and stop on Public.
Once the post is shared, it will be automatically translated for those who speak the language or languages specified when composing the post. Great, don't you think?
Please note: If you forgot to translate the post into a specific language you can add it later by clicking on the menu View in: that you find in correspondence with it and then choosing Write in another language give the menu check if you press.
Give smartphone and tablet
As for the smartphone and tablet side, you can activate the automatic translation of your posts on Facebook but, at the time of writing this article, for what concerns the actual composition you will have to rely on the Web version of the social network, turned on from your computer (as seen together above) or using the browser installed on your device (eg. Chrome your android e Safari your iOS).
So, to begin with, start the social network app on your Android or iOS device and access your account from the latter. Then stop on the button with the three lines horizontally that you find at the top left (on Android) or bottom right (on iOS), scroll down the screen that opens and select the item Account settings (your Android) or Settings> Account Settings (its iOS).
In the screen you now see, step on the item Language then press on Post in multiple languages and activates the relative switch so that the voice is enabled afterwards si. So save the changes you have made on the button Save.
Now, go to the Facebook home via the web browser or on the screen related to your profile and start composing a new post with automatic translation following as seen together a few lines above, the steps to be taken are practically identical.
